I have a degree in Journalism and have been in Corporate Communications for more than 30 years. I have nearly 15 years of experience helping my kids succeed in middle school and high school English, Journalism, and Creative Writing. I strive to connect with my students by tailoring my approach to their individual learning styles. I'm passionate about making learning engaging and fun, by using a student's strengths and building upon those in my approach. My teaching philosophy centers on creating a supportive and engaging environment where students feel encouraged to express themselves and develop their skills.
