I graduated from Clemson University with a B.A. in English Literature and a minor in Psychology. While studying English and working as a Research Assistant at Clemson Libraries, I supported innumerable students on strengthening their writing through dedicated workshops; one-on-one subject tutoring; essay and technical report feedback; and individualized research support across all academic disciplines. After undergraduate and a stint in Clemson's Education Media Center, I earned my M.Ed. and Ed.S. in Counselor Education with a School Counseling Emphasis. This training deepened my understanding of the academic, social-emotional, and career supports adolescents and young adults need to succeed. Across these experiences, I have continued to see students as influential individuals who have the potential to thrive given a supportive environment and the right resources. As a Varsity Tutor, I aim to continue this work by serving as a supportive teaching resource in English language arts and creative writing for high school students and college scholars.
