As a dedicated peer tutor with a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Florida State University, I bring both research and industry experience to my teaching. I completed an Honors thesis on hydrogel biomaterials and worked as an R&D intern at Cordis, where I designed and tested medical device fixtures. My tutoring philosophy focuses on creating a supportive, approachable environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence in their learning. As a first-generation Hispanic student, I understand the challenges of navigating college and strive to tailor my approach to each student's needs. Outside of academics, I enjoy music and served as Music Director of an a cappella group, which strengthened my communication and leadership skills.
