I'm a patient and enthusiastic tutor with several years of experience working with children ages 3 to 13 in both in-person and online settings. I hold a degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Toronto, where I graduated with Dean's List honors. I specialize in tutoring Math, English, Social Studies, and introductory Economics subjects that I believe help students build not just academic skills, but lifelong confidence and curiosity.

My tutoring journey began at a charity school in Pakistan, where I taught Math and English to young learners in classroom settings and one-on-one sessions. Working with students at various developmental stages taught me how to adapt lessons to different learning styles and needs. Since then, I've continued tutoring elementary and middle school students virtually, using engaging tools like visual slides, online whiteboards, and interactive platforms to keep sessions fun, focused, and effective.

Academically, I've always had a deep interest in both analytical and creative subjects. I've taken advanced Economics coursework, including AP-level classes, and placed in the top 10 internationally twice in the National History Day (NHD) competition, which sharpened my research, writing, and presentation skills. These experiences fuel my passion for helping students find their strengths and express their ideas clearly, whether it's solving a math problem or writing a strong paragraph.
