I have a deep passion for both scientific inquiry and the arts, and I strive to maintain a well-rounded life that reflects this balance. My academic and professional interests lie in biology and chemistry, where I am especially drawn to interdisciplinary research, teaching, and public science communication. Outside the lab and classroom, I find joy in long-distance running, which offers me both physical challenge and mental clarity. I also have a lifelong love for reading, particularly science nonfiction and classic literature, which continually broadens my perspective and deepens my appreciation for the history and philosophy of science. My background as a ballet dancer, including my time as a First Soloist with Central West Ballet, has instilled in me discipline, creativity, and resilience—qualities I bring into every facet of my academic and professional life. In quieter moments, I enjoy baking, which provides a comforting and creative outlet where science meets artistry.
