I am deeply passionate about education and dedicated to fostering a love for reading and writing in my students. With a Bachelor's in Education from West Texas A&M University and over three years of experience teaching upper elementary students, I specialize in creative writing, English language arts, and social studies. My teaching philosophy centers on engagement through hands-on, interactive lessons that encourage open discussions and active participation. I believe that when students are excited about learning, they thrive academically. My experience also includes working with diverse learners, which has equipped me with strategies to support students with varying needs. Outside of teaching, I enjoy staying active outdoors with my two dogs and spending quality time with my wife, who is in medical school. I am committed to making a positive impact in the lives of my students and helping them succeed.
