I am passionate about tutoring because I love helping students gain confidence in their abilities and discover that learning can be both manageable and rewarding. My experience ranges from tutoring high school and AP Biology students, where I was consistently at the top of my class, to reviewing essays during the college application process, and supporting peers in organic chemistry, where I earned an A+. I've also worked with younger learners, tutoring my cousins in elementary and middle school math and English, which taught me patience and adaptability.

Currently, I am a student in the BA/MD program at Brooklyn College and the CUNY School of Medicine, majoring in Health and Nutrition with a concentration in Public Health. I tutor biology (high school through college level), introductory organic chemistry, Algebra 1 and 2, and essay writing and review. Biology is my favorite subject to teach because I enjoy showing students how complex processes connect to the real world in meaningful ways.

My tutoring style is student-centered and flexible. I meet each learner where they are, break down challenging concepts step by step, and build lesson plans tailored to their needs. Outside of academics, I enjoy community service and leadership, including founding a nonprofit supporting pediatric patients, and I mentor younger students through programs focused on self-esteem, leadership, and anti-bullying. These experiences shape my approach as a tutor: supportive, encouraging, and dedicated to helping students reach their full potential.
