I have been helping people learn math for years. It's exciting to see students make sense of things they did not know before and demonstrate their new understanding. Math is great because it teaches us how to think logically.

I explain terms, concepts, procedures, and help students make connections to things they already know. I have taught 5th and 6th grade math courses, intermediate math (7th grade), pre-algebra (8th grade), Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, honors classes, ACT/SAT prep, and reading skills.

I did my math teacher training at Bowling Green State University. I completed my Master of Divinity at Bob Jones University where I am also working on my master's in educational leadership.
