My passion for helping students stems from the belief that education is not just a path to opportunityit's a tool for empowerment. I find deep fulfillment in watching students gain confidence as they begin to understand material they once found challenging. It's incredibly rewarding to witness those "aha" moments when concepts click and barriers begin to fall away. Tutoring allows me to play a direct role in that transformation, and I consider it a privilege.

I have worked with students across a wide range of settingsfrom one-on-one tutoring sessions to group academic supporthelping learners from middle school through undergraduate programs. My approach is grounded in patience, adaptability, and encouragement, with a focus on understanding each student's individual learning style and goals.

My education is rooted in the health sciences, and I am currently pursuing a Master's degree. This advanced training has sharpened my analytical thinking, time management, and communication skillsskills I use daily in both clinical and academic environments.

I tutor subjects including algebra 1, algebra 2, pre calculus, calculus 1, anatomy, and test preparation for standardized exams. While I enjoy all of these areas, my favorite subjects to tutor are calculus and algebra.

My tutoring style is student-centered, interactive, and goal-driven. I believe in building a strong foundation through conceptual understanding, and I use a variety of methodsvisual aids, analogies, and active recall strategiesto reinforce learning. I also prioritize creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process.

Outside of academia, I enjoy hiking, exploring new coffee shops, and staying active through weightlifting. These interests help me recharge and bring fresh energy to my teaching sessions.

Ultimately, I aim to not only help students succeed in their immediate academic goals, but to equip them with the skills and confidence to be independent learners for life.
