With over a decade of experience in law, compliance and contract management across global and Canadian settings, I bring not only subject matter expertise but also real-world insights that make abstract legal concepts practical and engaging. I've supported learners in university settings, as well as in professional environments and mentored junior legal staff, which has deepened my appreciation for clear, tailored instruction.
I hold an LLB and LLM in International Commercial Law, Certification as an Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/C), completed the Certificate of Qualification in Canadian Law through the Federation of Law Societies of Canada (FLSC) and recently passed the LSO Barrister Exam. I tutor core law subjects including contract law, tort law, business law, civil litigation, public law, criminal law, family law, private international law, and intellectual property law. My favorite part of tutoring is combining logic, strategy, and problem-solving in a way that directly connects to daily life, business and exam preparation.
My teaching philosophy centers on clarity, structure, and confidence-building. I aim to break down complex topics into digestible concepts while encouraging critical thinking and discussion. I tailor my approach to each student's learning style, whether they prefer real-world examples, visual aids, or interactive exercises.
Outside of academia, I enjoy coaching, playing and watching sport, live music, and travelling and exploring diverse cultures and food. I'm an advocate for ethical tech and privacy law. These interests often inform my tutoring sessions with relevant and up-to-date case studies that help bring legal theory to life.
