I am a graduate of Northern State University. I received my bachelor's degree in Chemistry Education in 2017 and my master's degree in Teaching and Learning in 2020. I am currently a doctoral student, studying curriculum and instruction.

I am a certified high school science teacher for all content areas, but my favorite subjects to teach are physics and Earth/space science. Outside of my role as an educator I am a volunteer with scouting programs in my region, running programs about coding, robotics, STEM careers, astronomy, life skills, and outdoor skills. I am an avid camper and love to be outdoors.

Science should be fun! I love being able to help students find the connection between what they are learning about and their real-world experiences. I approach a problem from multiple angles to find the method that "sticks" for students and truly helps them understand the topic they are working on.
