I'm passionate about tutoring because it allows me to share my love for science while helping students connect more deeply with the material. Watching students grow more confident in their abilities and develop a genuine interest in a subject is incredibly fulfilling. I've found that tutoring not only supports their learning but also strengthens my own understanding, helping me build a stronger foundation through teaching.

Currently, I'm completing my degree in the Faculty of Science at the University of British Columbia, majoring in Health and Exercise Sciences (Kinesiology). I've worked with a range of studentsfrom elementary and middle school learners to high school and first-year university students. Whether I'm helping a classmate prep for a midterm or walking a younger student through a tough science concept, I focus on breaking things down in a way that makes the content stick.

I tutor a variety of science subjects, including biology (with a focus on anatomy and physiology), physics, and general chemistry (Chem 1 and 2). My approach is hands-on and collaborative; I adapt to each student's learning style and work to make complex topics more accessible and engaging. Many of the students I've worked with have told me that the way I explain things helps them retain the material and perform well on exams.
