I have been an educator for 14 years. I have worked with students ranging in ages from 4 to 14, as well as with students with various special needs.

I have a degree in elementary education as well as a certification for Orion-Gillingham phonological awareness. I have been in the classroom most recently as a 4th grade teacher for the last 4 years.

As a tutor, I am available to support math and grammar instruction, and also reading and literacy. My favorite subject is science, because it is all about exploring our world and it incorporates all the subjects. I also love to study the Bible, and learn about Bible history.

My favorite sound as a teacher is when a student says, "OH! I get it now!" That is the sound of success for all of us.

Outside of teaching, I have a lot of interests, but my favorite is travel. I love exploring new places. I love learning about people in different places, and seeing the beauty in nature.
