I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in English Literature, and later earned a Master's in Education. I am certified to teach and be a principal. My work experience has ranged from teaching all subjects at the elementary level, to tutoring at the High School and college level, and supporting teachers (Elementary-High) to successfully teach reading, literature, writing and test prep. I've spoken at district, state and even national level events on teaching methodology and achieving student success.

My desire is to translate my deep love of learning into success for my students. I want every student to feel confident in their abilities and the material with which they are interacting. Together, we can build off of their strengths and overcome their challenges.

If I am not busily working away, I am either (surprise) reading, traveling with my family (I've visited 20 countries so far), singing and directing choirs, or horseback riding.
