My eight-year experience as a professional full-stack developer has allowed me to acquire a profound understanding of computer science concepts and their applications in the real world. This experience has made me not only a true professional but also a profound teacher who can explain the complex in an enjoyable and creative way. I am focused on tutoring various aspects, such as programming languages including Python, JavaScript, PHP, and Java, as well as web development, database management, software engineering, and advanced topics like algorithms and data structures.
Of these, I mostly enjoy tutoring the full-stack web development and the algorithms courses. Moreover, the creative blend of web development and logic programming is a measure of my interest in the subject because students indeed witness their creations function as real-world applications. Furthermore, the beauty of the topic lies in the fact that students have the chance to write instructions and make their computer perform a task upon their demand; this is exciting.
The philosophy I follow in my teaching is based on establishing a friendly and interactive learning environment that would ensure students are comfortable in asking questions and exploring more complex topics. I am focused on the course material and I am teaching the most important parts first, breaking things down as much as necessary. It is very vital for me to move from the factual, theoretical part of teaching to real-world application and see that the student can paint a picture with the concepts. I understand that students are all different and so are their learning paces and styles, which is why my approach is to fit each student uniquely, but I also make sure to inspire curiosity for the deeper understanding and the long quest for knowledge that every learner deserves.
Teaching always makes me feel fulfilled as it is my passion and my desire to contribute to the success of the others. I won't only give the theoretical knowledge but also expose students to real industry practices and trends. I am looking forward to sharing computer science with my students and having them learn the amazing world of computer science.
