"Math rrrrgh?!"

I am a Masters graduate offering virtual coaching sessions to help turn it into:

"Math ahhhh!"

I graduated top of my class from the Royal Military College of Canada in Kingston, Ontario, Canada with a Bachellors in Computer Engineering. At time of convocation I knew that I wanted to pursue additional education. I returned to the beautiful city of Kingston a few years later to complete a Master of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering. Taking my masters was an amazing experience! I was honoured to be able to complete a portion of my studies through Queen's University.

In addition to my academic background I am also an avid student of the School of Life.

I have helped tutor Junior High and High School students both family and friends. When it comes to tutoring, my strongest subject is math.

People whom I have tutored have come to know that I like to ask a lot of questions about how things are going with their learning! I also like to ask what strategies they have been taught for a particular problem, what types of extra help have they received, along with the kind of learner they feel they are. I am also known to ask questions related to what works best when it comes to someone learning a new concept or just looking to improve their skills.

I like being outdoors: there are so many benefits in spending time outside! Many of my hobbies and interests are geared accordingly.
