With two years of experience teaching and mentoring students aged 6-80 and working with nearly 50 students through Varsity Tutors, I've developed a strong passion for making learning both meaningful and engaging. My work has focused especially on science subjects like chemistry and biology, singing and performance, as well as English, writing, and math.

I believe that while learning is essential, it isn't always easy. My goal is to support students through challenges by creating a positive, motivating environment that builds their confidence and encourages growth. I strive to make learning enjoyable and relevant by connecting it to students' interests and goals.

My background includes online tutoring in English, math, and science, along with coaching in singing and dancing. I've also worked as a summer camp counselor, where I gained hands-on experience designing fun, interactive learning experiences. I'm currently in my second year of Nursing at the University of Ottawa where I have gleaned a deep understanding of the human body and foundational biological concepts. Additionally, I graduated from an arts-focused high school where I specialized in Drama, Vocals, and Production Design. This blend of science and the arts allows me to support students in both creative and academic subjects with flexibility and enthusiasm.

My teaching philosophy centers on engagement as the key to learning. I use tools like Kahoot games, interactive stories, and real-life applications to bring concepts to life. I also tailor sessions around each student's schoolwork to help them make direct connections between tutoring and the classroom building both understanding and confidence.
