As a dedicated educator with a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor's in Psychology from Mercy College, I am passionate about tutoring Conversational Spanish and Spanish 101. My experience working in a nonprofit organization has honed my communication skills, particularly in providing psychoeducation to Spanish-speaking families impacted by Intimate Partner Violence. I work with Spanish-speaking families ages ranging from 3 years old to 65 years old. I thrive on creating interactive, student-centered lessons that cater to individual interests and needs while fostering a love for learning. I enjoy using creative methods such as videos and engaging activities to make learning enjoyable. My goal is to empower students and help them gain confidence in their language skills while also nurturing their overall development. I find immense joy in witnessing their growth and "aha" moments as they master new concepts.
