I am a graduate of the University of Texas. I received a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. I majored in life science with a minor in literature. I hold a Texas Teaching Certificate. I'm certified to teach all core subjects from 1st through 8th grade. I have an additional certification to teach kindergarten through 12th grade, special education, all subjects. I have twelve years of teaching experience in all subjects. I have taught at all grade levels in both the mainstream setting as well as in adaptive behavior settings. I have taught in a private school, home school and public school. I am most passionate about teaching english, reading, history and science. I enjoy working one on one and small groups settings. It is my intention to impart upon every student the desire to challenge themselves, set goals and expectations and stay focused on what it will take for them to achieve their goals. It is my hope to, awaken and leave a positive lasting impression on every student.
