I am a graduate of Northcentral and Wilberforce Universities. I earned my BA in Mass Media/Communications from Wilberforce, and both my Master's (2016) and Doctorate (2020) in Education from Northcentral University. While I have taught English to adult ESL students, my main focus is English/Language Arts grades 6-12. I have entered my 19th year in education, which includes teaching ESL and as an associate professor at my undergraduate alma mater. My teaching philosophy is very simple: Never Stop Learning. In fact, it is my personal mantra. I not only want to help young people with ELA, I want to model how to be a lifelong learner.
