A graduate of Texas State University, I was a music teacher and switched to special education in 2013. As a special education teacher, who believes all students can attain goals, I've worked in elementary STAAR grades (Texas 3rd-6th), and life skills K-8. I have also taught resource math for middle school (6-8). Math, reading, and writing are my specialties, with math being my favorite subject. I have been a teacher of the year and also an administrator with school improvement. I started tutoring while I was in college and continued throughout my educational career. I retired from teaching at the end of the 2024 school year and now tutor online. I look forward to continuing working with scholars and seeing them succeed.
