In my role as a tutor, I am committed to creating an inspiring classroom setting where students' natural curiosity and thirst for knowledge can flourish. Motivated by a deep desire to see each student succeed, I modify my lessons to cater to their unique learning styles, encouraging self-assurance and intellectual development. I currently teach ENGL 103 at one our local universities. I have been named Teacher of the Year in two school districts. I possess a Bachelor's in Elementary Education and a Master's in English, and I am currently working on a Doctorate in Instructional Technology and Distance Education. I am honored to have taught students of all ages in my career as a public school teacher, reading coach, district reading specialist, and as an educational consultant. Beyond passing on facts and figures, I want my students to master transferable and applicable knowledge and skills.
