As a network enthusiast, I've learned many concepts by doing and testing by myself. However, every new knowledge acquired comes with training, reading, and understanding what is about. I've always tried to translate difficult concepts into common language using examples from normal life and that's the way I've always explained to my students, linking complex concepts with daily life situations so they may later not understand what they are listening to or reading, but assimilate the concepts, make it theirs and finally realize what is its purpose.
I like to dedicate time and effort to making students feel excited about the network, about how everything is interconnected and what the possibilities are, not focusing only on one brand, but on the contrary, giving them the capacity to compare different options looking for how the network devices work. Preparing them not only for certifications but for real situations.
