I am a graduate of the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, KY. I received my Bachelors of Science degree in Teaching in Elementary School (Western Kentucky University), Primary through Grade 5 and my Masters of Arts degree in Teaching Exceptional Children, Learning and Behavior Disorders, Grades Primary Through 12. Since graduation, I have had a combined total of 15 years of teaching experience including general and special education settings as well as an interventionist that focused on school-wide behaviors. I have become quite fond of writing and math as my years in the classroom have increased. I truly believe that each child can learn and should be given that opportunity. While each child learns in a specific way, we should adapt and be willing to meet the need of the individual to ensure success can be a reality.
