I studied Music Composition, Music Education, and Piano at West Chester University of Pennsylvania. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education, cum laude. However, that was certainly not the end of my education. I have long held a deep passion for learning, believing that I can always improve, that I can always push the boundaries of my talents. I pursued my own quest through self-guided learning and became even more devoted to my piano studies, having developed my skills to where I can play the music I have always dreamt of playing. I realized that there are as many approaches to learning as there are to teaching, and no one method is the only approach. Musical talent can be a delicate thing, and while it sometimes develops of its own volition, sometimes it requires gentle encouragement and guidance. I believe that in having learned to teach myself, I have learned to teach others. Simply put, the best way to honor my own music learning is to pass it on to those who also want to learn. I am passionate about a great many subjects, while Music Theory is one of my musical focuses, along with piano performance, I enjoy creative writing, and reading, fantasy, and science fiction in particular.
