Hello! I'm Kay, and I'm passionate about helping young learners achieve their full potential in reading and math. With a Doctorate in Education and a Master's degree in elementary education, I bring both academic expertise and a love for teaching to every session. My focus is on helping students build strong foundational skills in these critical subjects.

I specialize in tutoring students in kindergarten readiness and elementary education with a strong focus on reading, writing, and math. I work with young learners, adult students, and small groups to build confidence, improve skills, and develop a love of learning. What I offer includes: Reading & Writing Instruction: phonics, decoding, comprehension, vocabulary, fluency, creative and academic writing. Math Tutoring: number sense, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and math fluency; Test Prep: early standardized tests, and school entrance exams; Group Classes; Academic Coaching: goal setting, organization, confidence building; Adult Literacy and Education: ESL, foundational reading and math skills, writing for work or daily life; I use differentiated teaching style that meets each learner where they are.
