I am a graduate of Illinois College and Murray State University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and my Masters in Reading and Writing. I have primarily elementary reading and writing. I taught fourth grade Language Arts and Social Studies for 15 years I was a substitute teacher for 5 years in grade K- 8 and currently teach kindergarten. I love teaching elementary students the love of reading. I believe reading is a way of exploring the world and it can take you great places in the future. In my spare time, I enjoy reading children's literature, boating, swimming and spending time with my grandchildren.
