I am a graduate of North Carolina State University with a B. S. in Chemical Engineering. I have 15 years of experience in the Chemical industry. I've tutored students of all ages in the subjects of math, science, reading and English. I'm a native Spanish speaker so I've also been able to tutor ESL students. In my profession I obtained my Project Management Professional certification and have focused on project management work.

I like to help students understand a topic in a way that makes sense to them. I find analogies or acronyms to help explain complex topics. I've found that boosting a student's confidence in their ability to master a topic is what makes a big difference. Education unlocks so many doors. I want to give back to others just like I was helped along my school journey.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking a new recipe, and making pottery.
