I am a graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso where I received my Bachelor of Arts and Master of Fine Arts, both in Creative Writing. I have experience teaching Introduction to Creative Writing which was an excellent opportunity where I learned about each student's goals and dreams, not just academically but personally as well, all reflected through their writing. I am most passionate about Poetry and Fiction, yet I am comfortable in tutoring a wide range of subjects in English and Writing. I believe in the importance of reading and writing as a tool to grow in confidence in the academic world and in everyday life as well. I always work towards creating a safe environment where students get to explore and find what they're most passionate about through the material they learn from and the material they create as well.
