I am a graduate of the University of Texas. I received my Bachelor of Arts in English, with a concentration in English as Second Language and Secondary Education. Since graduation, I have worked in the United States and Asia, within university settings, homes, and public schools. Most recently, I was awarded a Tutor of the Year Award from a middle school where I tutored students in reading and math. I am most passionate about seeing my students reach their goals. I have had the opportunity to help students in Asia who studied for standardized tests such as TOEFL and OPic exams to attain their desired scores for university entrance abroad or to achieve promotions within their companies. As part of their study, we often focused on improving their critical thinking and speech. It brings me joy to see my students advance. In my free time, I engage in community-building efforts and with my neighbors through line dancing and playing pickleball. I also enjoy reading and strumming my guitar.
