I am a graduate of Western Governors' University. I received my Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction. Currently I am a kindergarten teacher finishing up my fourth year of teaching. In the evenings, I coach competitive dancers in tap, lyrical, hip hop, and musical theater. Before becoming a teacher, I did summer school for first grade students. I am passionate about teaching kids and not a certain subject--it's why I chose Elementary and not middle or high school. I just enjoy all learning, so it made sense that I would want to teach all subjects. My favorite way to teach is through game-like learning opportunities. When I'm not teaching or coaching, I like to read, paint, swim, and hang out with family and friends!
