I am a highly enthusiastic, committed Spanish teacher with excellent organizational skills and attention to
detail.
My first experience as a teacher was as a volunteer Spanish Teacher in an NGO with adults from all over the world, many of them illiterate in their mother tongues. That challenge gave me the opportunity to see how people can really get impressive results when you give them enthusiasm, motivation, and personal feedback. Since then, I always try to adapt every lesson that I create, considering the skills of the pupil and group, creating activities related to their real experiences being more significant for them and designing exercises based on common interests of the group. My teaching experiences in the UK, in Spain and in Mexico have given me the chance to open my mind and passion for helping every student to feel happy, valued and respected. Throughout my career, I have been able to transmit my passion for language learning through the
delivery of creative, engaging lessons to pupils of varying levels, needs and ages.
I have been working in the UK for the last 9 years teaching to adults and in Secondary Schools (Years 7 to A-Levels - including GCSE as well) and becoming an examiner of AQA too; which has given me a great experience for helping my students in more depth.
