Hello, my name is Alex and I am a 19 year old Mechanical and Energy Engineering student at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh. I have A Levels in maths, physics and English language, which I achieved good grades in and am fully competent to teach.

Moreover, I was an Air Cadet where I gained a method of instruction qualification (teaching aviation studies) and a first aid instructor qualification. This has equipped me with years of experience in teaching to teenagers and adults.

Furthermore, I am dyslexic therefore, I personally understand the struggles that come with having a learning difficultly. Despite my dyslexia, I gained great grades and this proves others with learning difficulties, such as mine, can too. I did this through engaging and fun revision techniques that I utilise during teaching. Learning should be interesting and enjoyable while ensuring the student understands the exam specifications to gain the best grades possible. With me, this is possible.
