I am so excited to have the opportunity to help you grow into a confident and amazing student who loves to learn! I graduated from Clemson University in 2018 with a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education. I will be graduating this summer with my Masters in Literacy from Clemson as well. During my time at Clemson, I was able to travel to Reggio Emilia where I learned about the Reggio Approach to teaching and learning. This approach is student centered and teaches students to become independent thinkers, explorers and problem-solvers. I am passionate about teaching through engaging activities that help students to enjoy learning. Without the enjoyment, they will never want to learn. Helping my students to become life long learners is my ulitmate goal. During the summer in college, I worked in an Applied Behavior Analysis Program and learned a lot about working with students who need special accomodations and modifications. So far in my teaching career I have taught Kindergarten for 3 years and this is my second year teaching 1st grade. I am passionate about teaching.
