Teaching is not just my profession; it's my passion. With a Bachelor of Arts in Education with an Endorsement in English from Longwood University, I have over 13 years of experience in teaching and tutoring! I specialize in English, History, Essay Writing; Thesis Development, College Admissions Essay Writing including Application Guidance, Early Childhood Interventions in Math, Reading, & Writing, Test Prep and Executive Functioning, as well as Organization and Study Skills Building. I am well versed in Remediation tactics and Differentiated Instruction, in which my ability to adapt and apply new strategies is highlighted. I am immensely skilled in implementation of student needs and specialize in numerous learning styles. I can adapt to various situations and cater to those in Exceptional Education and can apply specific accomodations as needed/indicated based upon IEP/504 Plans. My approach centers on fostering a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to explore and develop their skills. I take great pride in helping students enhance their writing abilities, guiding them through outlining, thesis development, and effective revision techniques. I believe that every student can experience the joy of mastering a challenging concept, much like the satisfaction of solving a complex math problem.
