I am a 200 hour registered yoga teacher (RYT) through yoga alliance. I received my 200 hour yoga teaching certification in 2020 through the "Online Yoga School." After becoming a certified yoga teacher, I have chosen to specialize in beginner and restorative yoga. However, I am also well versed in intermediate and advanced yoga as well as teaching people to progress in their yoga journey to become stronger and more advanced. Along with my 200hr. RYT certification, I graduated from the University of Dayton with a bachelors degree in Communications and a minor in photography. I believe my degree in communications has helped me with my ability to connect with others and deliver the necessary terms in verbal and nonverbal ways. Since receiving my certification, I have worked with cancer patients in improving their mobility before, during or after their cancer treatments in order to get stronger through restorative yoga. I have also held free 30-45 minute beginner yoga classes on Instagram live through my yoga Instagram @yoga.mbs. I mainly work with people who are new to their yoga journey, are in the beginner stages of their yoga practice or are looking to advance in specific areas. In addition to this I have also worked as a yoga instructor at a parks department and tutor through this app. As I look to always be improving on my own yoga journey, personally and professionally, I am working towards my chair yoga and restorative yoga specialist certifications. I am very passionate about helping people strengthen their minds, bodies and souls. I truly believe that yoga is the way to strengthen all of these aspects of our lives. As someone who was introduced to yoga as a means of healing, I truly believe that yoga can help anyone enhance their life for the better, or heal from whatever physical, mental or emotional struggle they are facing. Yoga helped me heal from a TBI (traumatic brain injury) I endured in 2013. From then until now, I have practiced yoga weekly, if not every day, and I have seen such an improvement in my life I felt compelled to share that with others so they too could improve their lives in any way they need/want!
