About Me

Hello there! I have been a nurse for 15 years, I started my career as an LPN and then went back to school to complete my BSN at Olivet Nazarene University. I have worked mainly as an ICU nurse at level 1 trauma hospitals. I am board certified, CCRN and I am currently working in the cath lab/IR suite in a small community hospital. My mother and my brother are nurses as well; my brother is in the ED and my mom is on the Tele unit. We love to compare stories and compete about which specialty is the best. Good times! I have three teenagers and another nurse in the making. I love to teach. I can help you with NCLEX board exams, both LPN and RN. I can also help with certifications like CCRN, Progressive care, etc. I love to see when the light bulb goes off and they understand a new concept. My philosophy in teaching a concept is understanding the reason why. Once you know the reason why you can answer many questions with easy effort.
