I am a teacher with over 30 years experience teaching Mathematics and Physics in schools across South Africa, India and the United States. Most recently, I have been a Mathematics and IB Physics teacher at Meade High School in Anne Arundel County Public Schools. At Meade High I have taught Algebra 2 classes along with the aforementioned IB Physics class.
With respect to my teaching style, I try to meet students where they are. Instead of stressing on previous understanding of concepts, I try to foster a positive attitude to the subject and a hard working mentality. And through my classes as well as 1:1 sessions, I try to bring about improvement in each student. At the very least, at the end of the year, each student should feel a lot more comfortable with the subject. They should never shy away from a career choice because of a Mathematics or Physics component.
