I received my Bachelors Degree in Instrumental, Choral, and General Music Education from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. I am currently pursuing a Masters in Music in Horn Performance at the University of Oregon. I taught for about 2.5 years before going back to grad school, and in that time I taught a variety of music classes ranging grades K-12. During grad school, I started substitute teaching which has allowed me to teach many subjects outside of music. While music is the main focus of my profession, I have always enjoyed other academic areas, especially Science and Math. I am passionate about working with students to help them do the best work they can, and get to know each individual student in order to best help them reach their fullest potential. In my free time I enjoy camping, water skiing, rock climbing and playing volleyball.
