I received my Hons. BA in English and History from Brescia College and my MA and PhD in History from the University of Western Ontario.
I have lectured in Modern European and British History at the university level. I have also been a teaching assistant, running tutorial sessions in Modern European and Canadian History. I specialize in Modern European, British, and Irish History, in particular the conflict in Northern Ireland since 1968. I am passionate about providing help and feedback for essays and academic writing. I enjoy helping students improve their writing and organizational skills. I love to see their confidence grow. In my free time I enjoy reading, doing puzzles, hockey, and spending time with my dog.
