I am passionate about helping students and bridging any gaps in their education. If a student is not working at their grade level, my passion is meeting them where their current ability level is, and working on skills to get them where they need to be.
I am currently in my 7th year of teaching. I have experience teaching 4th grade math and 5th grade language arts. I currently teach 4th grade language arts and that is where my passion truly lies.
I earned my bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University and from there I earned my master's in education from the University of Findlay. I have a teaching license through the state of Ohio and I am licensed to teach math and science for grades 4-9 and language arts and social studies in grades 4-6. I am available to tutor in all of those areas as well.
When I am not helping students I enjoy reading, cooking, getting exercise, and spending time with my family.
