I love reading!! I love teaching middle school! I love learning about everything. I have a new dog, which keeps me busy! And, I have grandchildren that I adore!!! I'm also very interested and active in learning more about diversity, equity and inclusion as it pertains to our educational system. I have many skills in teaching phonics -teaching the sound of each consonant and vowel explicitly. Students and English language learners are not able to learn how to read , unless they understand the rules of each consonant and vowel sound.
