I am a passionate English educator who has loved reading and writing from an early age. Knowing what doors open to confident readers and writers, I felt called to teach. At Trinity Christian College, where I graduated with a degree in education, I honed my pedagogical skills as an advocate for all learners. I have been teaching English to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders for the last ten years. I am certified to teach ESL as well as gifted students. While I am a skilled instructor of all reading and writing skills, I am passionate about Historical Fiction and Creative Writing. I have supported many struggling readers engage in a way they have not before and meet growth goals. I believe in lifelong learning, and supporting your educational journey.
