I am a highly qualified teacher, and I am currently serving a position as an academic coach. I am also our district online coach. I have a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor's of Science in Early Childhood Education. I have recently finished all courses for Tier 1 Add-On Certification in Educational Leadership at Valdosta State University. I am a level two Google certified educator. I have been teaching for 12 years in various k-5 grade classrooms. I have spent most of my career teaching fourth and fifth graders. Last year, I taught and assisted as a content developer for our online grade 5 students in the district. I teach all subjects and I have found joy in teaching them all. I am a certified gifted teacher and I have also been trained to work with struggling readers. I have provided many interventions to help struggling readers close their gaps. I believe in empowering students and providing them with engaging learning experiences.
