I am an avid mathematics, SAT, and science subject tutor for high school, middle school, and elementary school students. I have recently graduated from an internationally accredited private high school and will be attending the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor from Fall 2021. I aspire to complete my pre-medical education and a major in informatics during my undergraduate years.
I have tutoring experience for over 3 years, during which I have taught students in all K-12 grade levels, prepared high-scoring SAT candidates, and further worked with Mathnasium for a year. I love teaching Mathematics and preparing young adults for the SAT, as these subjects challenged me growing up, and I adore sharing my philosophy for learning the key concepts in these subjects/examinations. I believe in driving students towards independent learning and making them able to apply their knowledge in real life scenarios. I like to dig deep into the roots of subjects to make sure the student actually understands the basics of the subjects being taught. It's fascinating how a strong foundation in academics helps students decipher the more difficult concepts independently. Outside teaching, I am a musician, a soccer fan, and a debator. I belive that the eduction system of the country can thrive, and varsity tutors has the perfect platform to support it. See you in class!
