My first serious tutoring experience started in the Writing Center of my University campus. Thus, writing is by far the my most favorite subject to tutor. Soon, I started volunteering to tutor kids, specifically those in Elementary and Middle school. I tutored students on a variety of subjects to supplement their education in school.
From my experience so far, my teaching philosophy is to guide the student to the answer and not to force information on them. I try my best to provide them with a comfortable atmosphere where they have the confidence and curiosity to find the answer to problems themselves. I try to ask stimulating questions and provide relevant information and resources to help the students get where they need to be.
Outside of tutoring, I am currently an aspiring software developer who recently graduated from the University of Connecticut
Undergraduate Degree: University of Connecticut - Bachelor in Arts, Computer and Information Systems Security
My main interest is reading, however, I dabble in drawing, baking and fashion design sometimes.
