I am a graduate of The University of Mississippi and I received my Bachelor's degree in English; my Master's degree in English Education; and my Specialist and Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction. I have spent the last ten years as an English teacher and have since transitioned into the role of curriculum specialist for a school district as well as a professor of education. I am passionate about English literature, grammar, and writing. I am a proponent for education in all regards and believe it to be a necessity for a fulfilled life. In my spare time I enjoy reading, spending time with my dog, Atticus (named after the main character in To Kill A Mockingbird), cheering on the Ole Miss Rebels, and spending time with friends and family.
