I am a graduate of The Ohio State University with a Master's in Early Childhood Education, specifically literacy instruction. I have been teaching for the past 19 years and have experience with students in PreK-8th grade. While I have a wide variety of subject areas on my profile, my passion is reading and writing in the elementary and middle school grades. I believe that it is essential to be a literate citizen and I strive to make sure that my students leave me with a love of reading and writing.

Hobbies

In my spare time, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my daughter. The most exciting place I have traveled is Barcelona. I fell in love with the people and the culture and I cannot wait to return some day. I also love football, specifically Ohio State football, and I play volleyball year round. When I am not active in sports for myself or my daughter, I enjoy reading and watching Harry Potter.
