I graduated from the University of Kansas in 2016 with Honours in English literature, a focus in environmentalist literature, and a minor in French. I have recently completed my masters in environment, heritage, and policy at the University of Stirling in Scotland (a history based program). I am currently writing my dissertation on ecomuseums and designated outdoor spaces.
I tutor many subjects, however I have a particular fascination with English literature, European history, and writing. Not only do I have a strong academic foundation in these areas, I also have a personal love for them. I enjoy helping students find their own understanding and connection with these subjects. I believe academic success is not gained by simply memorizing facts, but a through an in-depth engagement with the material.
In addition to the above, I can also assist with AP art portfolios and artist's statements. I have previously taken multiple AP art courses, scored highly on AP art tests, and have over ten years of professional art training. My artistic strengths include drawing, painting, photography, and graphic design.
