About Me

I hold a BSN from Winston Salem State University and a MSN from UNC Chapel Hill. I am a board certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. I am passionate about children. I have worked in a wide variety of healthcare settings from acute care to home health. I enjoy teaching nursing students, as I feel we need strong nurses who are competent and skilled to care for others. I have been a clinical instructor and currently precept graduate nursing students. I like to assess how each student learns so that we can work from there to develop the best way to understanding and mastery of the information. I want each student to succeed and will try my hardest to help you achieve your goals.
